The USS Entrepreneurship Program aims to support undocumented students at UCSB and Alumni who would like to learn about income generating opportunities regardless of immigration status. USS believes that undocumented people have the ability and creativity to lead their own ventures, businesses, and practice. This program helps students and alumni explore the concept of entrepreneurship and independent contracting.
The program consists of workshops and guided support by guest speakers which includes undocu-entrepreneurs and independent contractors who share their experiences as business owners and independent contractors.

Program Benefits
Program participants will learn about income generating opportunities available to undocumented people (with or without DACA) and will be introduced to information on how to develop an entrepreneurial mindset and basic understanding of how to launch their own business. Additionally, students will have access to free resources and additional one-on-one support from USS Staff. Students will also get connected with undocu-entrepreneurs and independent contractors.
